SENIORS- Ceramics 2 Final Project/Presentation Friday May 31

Students will be asked to research and choose a female artist who creates 3D art. Each student will choose a different artist that needs to be approved by Mr. Purcell  and write a 2 full page double spaced paper (minimum) in 12 point type plus an additional works cited page andpresent a clear full color image of this artist’s work and facts about their life, training, creative process and notable aspects of their career in the arts. The artist's work has to be three dimensional but the media utilized is unlimited.  Presentations will happen during the last day of class and will count for 20% of final grade.
Be in class before the bell with all materials ready to present.  No late or emailed papers will be accepted.  Please do not plagiarize in any way and begin by learning the correct pronunciation of your artist's name. Please do not print your paper in the LMC before class, get it done in advance as late entry will lose your presentation spot.  Your presentation counts as 10% of the final project grade.
Presentations can be a well thought through synopsis with note cards or the paper can be read to the class.  Please be prepared to know your subject matter and answer questions.
