  1. A tint is a color mixed with white, and a shade is a color mixed with black.

Simulation contrast is when a color looks different when its background is different. For example a bright red will look lighter with a white background and darker with a black background.

Complimentary colors are shades that look good together.

  2. The difference between tint and a shade of color is that tint is making a color lighter while shade is making a color darker

An example of simultaneaous contrast could be how blue eyes pop more with blond hair than it does with brown or black hair

complimentary colors are colors that look good together and bring out the color to each

  3. The difference between a tint and a shade of a color is that tint is a light value of a hue while a shade is a darker value of a hue. An example of simultaneous contrast is how the color red contrasting with green could affect your perception of the red color. Complimentary colors are when hues are opposite from each other on the color wheel.

  4. Tint is a light hue value while shade is is a dark hue value. Simultaneous contrast is when a your perception of a color is affected by the colors around it. An example is a small red square in a bigger green square. Different greens will change what the red looks like. Complementary colors are opposite colors, red + green, blue + orange, and so on.

  5. A tint is a lighter value of a hue and a shade is a darker value of a hue.

The only simultaneous contrast that works for me is a solid gray rectangle inside a gradient from black to white. (It makes the solid gray bar look gradated too).

Complimentary colors are opposite each other on the color wheel and look dece together.

  6. The difference between a tint and a shade of color is that in theory a tint is a mixture of color with white , which reduces darkness while a shade is a mixture with black . Red and green and yellow and violet so a small color square in a bigger different color square . Complementary colors are colors that are opposite on the color wheel

  7. 1. There is a clear difference between the tint and shade of a color. When you tint a hue you add lighter values to the color. When you shade a hue you make it dark.
    2. A good example of simultaneous contrast is when you have a lightly darker red on top of a gray background. It makes the red stand out much more and seem brighter.
    3. Complimentary colors are colors that are on two different sides of the color wheel but they attract your attention strongly. Colors like white and black stand out and call attention to it.

  8. 1. The difference between tint and shade is that tint is a light value of hue, which makes a color lighter, and shade is a dark value of a hue that makes the color darker.
    2. An example of simultaneous contrast is how the intensity of a red box is affected by different green backgrounds.
    3. Complementary colors are hues that are exact opposites on the color wheel. For example, two complementary pairs are orange and blue, which, when they are put together attract your attention.

  10. Tint is a light value and shade is a darker value.

An example yellow square inside a blue square. using different blues will make the human eye think that the yellow is changing.

Complementary colors are the opposite color on the color wheel like red and green.
