  2. 1.Falling water was a house that FLW designed in just over 2 hours. It was built over a stream, and was made to allow people to look over the water.
The color palette that FLW used was a tan/beige/oak color palette.
2.FLW used stained glass in the walls of the Schaberg house in Okemos, Michigan, he used mostly greens and golds in works like the doorway of the Dana-Thomas house in Springfield, Illinois, and circular windows in the stair hall of the Roberts house in Oak Park. (state was not clear)
3.A fireplace in FLW’s work represents a place where a family can come together. The fireplace was typically located in near the center of the homes, so they can be viewed as the “center of attention.”
4.What is unique about the entrance to an FLW building is that it allows you to take in lots of the house at once. Most houses are not like this.
5.FLW believed that his buildings should have something to do with the geography of the land. For example, with the church that he rebuilt, instead of putting the floor where people worship god, he put it on the second floor, as if rising them up on the plateau the town was on.
